Keihan Railway connects Osaka (Yodoyabashi) and Kyoto (Demachiyanagi) as one of Kansai's major private railways. Founded in 1910, it pioneered TV cars (1954) and double-decker coaches. The Series 8000 express features a Premium Car reserved-seat service on its commuter route.
