関西のモノレール・新交通システムです。大阪モノレールは1990年開業で北大阪を環状に結ぶ跨座式モノレールです。ニュートラム（南港ポートタウン線）は1981年開業の日本初の実用AGT（自動案内軌条式）で、ポートライナーとともに新交通システムの先駆けでした。
