京阪3000系の初代は1971年に登場した特急用電車です。2扉の鋼製車体にクロスシートを備え、テレビカーとして大阪と京都を結ぶ特急で使われました。後に残った編成にはダブルデッカーが組み込まれ、車内設備と編成の姿が変わりました。
The first Keihan Series 3000 was introduced in 1971 for limited-express services. Its two-door steel bodies housed transverse seating and a television-equipped car for journeys between Osaka and Kyoto. A double-decker car was later added to the surviving trainset, changing both its passenger accommodation and formation.
