ストックホルム市内交通 (SL)

ストックホルム市内の交通は地下鉄、トラムや郊外線が走っています。これらは全てSLと呼ばれる市内交通公社が管理していますが、運営はConnexによるものが多いです。地下鉄は赤、緑、青の三つの路線があり、赤(レッドライン)と緑(グリーンライン)はT-celtralen-Slussen間で複々線を形成します。末端部は郊外のニュータウンまで伸びており、地上に出る路線も多くあります。第三軌条式で、青(ブルーライン)のみ750V、他の線は650Vです。近郊電車は、'振り子'列車を意味するPendeltågと呼ばれています。編成は多くが北欧の近郊電車で一番長い8両ですが、SJの長距離列車と線路を共有している関係上、頻度はやや低いです。特にStockholm中央駅 - Stokholm syd(南)駅間では、Göteborg・Malmöに向かう列車とPendeltågがたった一つの複線を共有しているため、輸送の大きな障害になっています。これは都心部にトンネル建設するCitybanan(シテュバナン)線の開通により解決される見通しです。ストックホルムのトラム(市電・Trikken)は、スウェーデンが左側通行から右側通行に変更された1967年に廃止されましたが、専用軌道を主体とする二つの路線が生き残りました。Lidingöbanan(リディンヨバナン)と、Nockebybanan (ノッケビュバナン)です。2000年に、路面区間を持つ新しい路線開業しました。Tväbanan(トゥヴォルバナン)がそれで、放射状の地下鉄路線を環状に結びます。TväbananとLidingöbananは海沿いを走る区間もあり、車窓は美しいです。

Stockholm's urban transport includes metro trains, trams and suburban lines. All are managed by the transport authority called SL, but many are operated by Connex. The metro has Red, Green and Blue lines; the Red and Green lines form a four-track section between T-Centralen and Slussen. Their outer ends reach suburban new towns, and many lines emerge above ground. They use third-rail power, with 750 V only on the Blue Line and 650 V on the others. The commuter trains are called Pendeltåg, described in the original as meaning 'pendulum' trains. Most formations have eight cars, the longest among Nordic commuter trains, but their frequency is somewhat low because they share tracks with SJ's long-distance trains. In particular, between Stockholm Central and Stockholm South, trains towards Gothenburg and Malmö and Pendeltåg services share just one pair of tracks, creating a major transport bottleneck. This is expected to be resolved by opening the Citybanan tunnel through the city centre. Stockholm's trams, called Trikken here, were abolished when Sweden changed from left-hand to right-hand traffic in 1967, but two mainly reserved-track routes survived: Lidingöbanan and Nockebybanan. In 2000, a new route with street-running sections opened: Tvärbanan, which links the radial metro lines circumferentially. Tvärbanan and Lidingöbanan have sections beside the sea, with beautiful views.
