土佐電気鉄道の路面電車は、高知市内の併用軌道と周辺地域への路線を結んできました。2014年に鉄道・バス事業がとさでん交通へ引き継がれ、桟橋線と東西方向の路線が都市交通を支えています。
Tosa Electric Railway's trams linked street track in central Kochi with surrounding communities. Its rail and bus operations passed to Tosaden Kotsu in 2014; the Sanbashi Line and east–west routes form the city's tram network.
