オーバーヴァイスバッハ登山鉄道は、山へ上がるケーブルカーと、山上を走る標準軌電車を組み合わせた鉄道で、1923年に旅客輸送が始まりました。ケーブルカーの一方は標準軌車両を載せられる運搬台で、旅客運転でも客車を載せて坂を上り下りします。山上の電車はリヒテンハイン〜クルスドルフ間を走り、麓からのケーブルカーに接続します。
The Oberweißbacher Bergbahn combines a funicular with a standard-gauge electric railway across a plateau; passenger service began in 1923. One funicular vehicle is a carrier platform capable of transporting railway vehicles, including a passenger coach in regular operation. The upper railway links Lichtenhain and Cursdorf, connecting with the funicular from the valley.
