京成3700系は、1991年から製造されました。8両固定編成となったため、貫通扉を設けず、左右非対称の前面デザインになりました。2001年まで長期に亘って増備され、132両のグループに成長しました。都営浅草線・京浜急行直通の主力です。
Keisei class 3700, built from 1991 to 2001, is the main force in Keisei Line and Oshiage Line. 8 cars compose one trainset, which is the longest in Keisei Line. Keisei Series 3700 was built from 1991. With fixed eight-car formations, it dispensed with a front gangway door and adopted an asymmetrical front-end design. Production continued over a long period until 2001, bringing the group to 132 cars. It is the main type used for through services to the Toei Asakusa Line and Keikyu.
