京成3600系は、京成3500系の増備車として1982年から製造されたオールステンレス車です。界磁チョッパ制御を採用し、6両固定編成で製造されました。現在では8両に変更され、本線の特急を中心に運用されています。
Keisei class 3600 has succeedded to class 3500. The major differences are its stainless body and chopper controlled motor. It is mainly used in Keisei Honsen Line (Ueno to Narita). Keisei Series 3600 is an all-stainless-steel type built from 1982 as an additional development of Series 3500. It uses field-chopper control and was built in fixed six-car formations. These have now been changed to eight-car formations and are mainly used on Main Line limited express services.
