209系 京浜東北線を中心に掲載しています。
Keihin-Tohoku Line is the oldest line that passes through central Tokyo. It originated from Keihin Line (Tokyo-Yokohama) and Tohoku Line, but is now operated completely as one line. From Tabata to Shinagawa, Yamanote Line runs alongside it. Only Series 209-0 was in service from 1998 to 2007, but new Series E233 later replaced it. Series 209 is well known for its low cost and advanced design policy.
