横浜線は東神奈川から中央線の八王子まで走ります。1989年以来、運用される車両は205系に統一されています。JR東日本は、ドア窓の拡大など小規模な設計変更を行いました。1994年には6扉車が加えられ、台車とドア窓の設計は209系0番台と共通です。
The Yokohama Line runs from Higashi-Kanagawa to Hachioji on the Chuo Line. Since 1989, Series 205 has been the only type in service. JR East made minor modifications, such as enlarged door windows. In 1994, a six-door car was added, sharing the same bogie and door window design as Series 209-0.
