113系は国鉄が製造した近郊形電車で、片側3扉の車体を採用しています。房総地区では内房線・外房線・成田線などに使われ、都市近郊から海沿いの地域までを結ぶ普通列車を担いました。
Series 113 was a JNR suburban train design with three passenger doors per side. In the Boso area it worked local trains on routes including the Uchibo, Sotobo and Narita Lines, linking suburban districts with coastal communities.
