東山線 5050系を中心に掲載しています。
Series 5050, built from 1992, replaced older non-air-conditioned trains such as Series 250 and 300. It is based on Series 2000 of the Meijo Line, but the front design and yellow stripe is inherited from Series 5000. A total of 162 cars were built, making it the main fleet on the Higashiyama Line.
