東山線 5000系を中心に掲載しています。
Series 5000 was introduced on the Higashiyama Line in 1983 as the first air-conditioned type on the line. It has an aluminum body with three doors per side, and six cars form one trainset. The yellow body stripe denotes the Higashiyama Line. The series has since been withdrawn due to aging bodies and electrical equipment.
