7000系と7050系は通勤形電車です。鋼製車体と青い塗装で製造された、西鉄最後の形式でした。インバータ制御とロングシートを採用しています。7000系は片側4扉、7050系は片側3扉です。2両編成で、甘木線と大牟田地区で使われています。
Series 7000 and 7050 are commuter trains. They were the last Nishitetsu series built with steel bodies and a blue livery. The trains use inverter control and longitudinal seating. Series 7000 has four doors per side, while Series 7050 has three. They are two-car trainsets used on the Amagi Line and in the Omuta area.
