Series 815 run Kumamoto area in Kagoshima Line and Hohi Line since 1999. It adopted Hitachi's A-Train design, with which most of the interior components are devided into large modules, jointed with large bolts to the body. Although its seat arrangement is normal side-seat, its design is very unique.
