京阪600形は1984年から登場し、旧300形・260形などの車体を利用して冷房付きの高性能車に改造された系列です。新しい運転台や走行機器を組み合わせた2両編成で、初期車と後期車では前面が異なります。京津線にも使われましたが、1997年の再編後は石山坂本線の運用を担いました。
Keihan Series 600 appeared from 1984, rebuilding bodies from older Series 300, 260 and related cars into air-conditioned, higher-performance trains. New cabs and running equipment formed two-car sets, with front-end differences between batches. It also worked the Keishin Line before concentrating on the Ishiyama-Sakamoto Line after the 1997 reorganization.
