仙石線は仙台から石巻までを結んでいます。仙台の人口が今日では100万人に増え、多くの通勤客が利用するほか、松島への観光客も利用しています。昔から、東京で使われた古い車両を全面的に改修して使用しています。現在は山手線から来た205系が新しい車両として走っています。
Senseki Line runs from Sendai to Ishinomaki. As popualtion in Sendai grows up to one million today, many commuters use the line, as well as tourists to Matsushima. From the old days, old cars from Tokyo are used after complete refurbishment. Now series 205 (from Yamanote Line) runs as newcomers.
