RATP MP59 is the third-oldest rubber-tire train type in the Paris Metro. Introduced in 1963, it ran on the busiest lines 1 and 4 for a long time. The newer MP89 has replaced it on Line 1, but many MP59 trains remain in service on Line 4. The front end was painted black after refurbishment.
