東武20000系と20050系は、2000系を置き換え、1988年から伊勢崎線と東京メトロ日比谷線で使用されています。片側3扉の18 m車体を持ち、日本で一般的な20 m車体より短くなっています。一部の車両は、駅での停車時間を短縮するために片側5扉を備えています。
Replacing Series 2000, Tobu 20000 and 20050 has been used on the Isesaki Line and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line since 1988. They have 18 m bodies with three doors per side, which is shorter than the Japanese standard 20 m body. Some cars have five doors per side to shorten stopping time at stations.
