2006年に導入された10000系は、東京メトロが初めて導入した新しい車両形式です。日立のA-train構想に基づき、アルミ車体とモジュール式の内装部品を採用しています。副都心線、有楽町線、西武線・東武線への直通運転用に合計360両が製造されました。
Series 10000, introduced in 2006, was the first new rolling stock type introduced by Tokyo Metro. Based on Hitachi's A-train concept, it has an aluminum body and modular interior components. A total of 360 cars were built for the Fukutoshin and Yurakucho lines, as well as through services to the Seibu and Tobu lines.
