鶴見線は横浜・川崎の臨海工業地帯を結ぶ路線で、海芝浦支線は1940年に海芝浦駅まで延びました。2004年からは、中間車に運転台を取り付けて改造した205系1100番台が3両編成で使われました。
The Tsurumi Line serves the waterfront industrial districts of Yokohama and Kawasaki, and its Umi-Shibaura branch reached Umi-Shibaura Station in 1940. From 2004, three-car Series 205-1100 sets rebuilt with cabs added to former intermediate cars worked on the line.
