Series E233-3000, used on the Tokaido Line, includes two double-decker Green Cars. Green Cars offer more comfortable seats and a quieter atmosphere. Compared with Series E231, Series E233 has square door windows and softer seats. Its performance is similar to the Keihin-Tohoku and Chuo Line variants, with a maximum speed of 130 km/h.
