北総鉄道は千葉ニュータウンへのアクセス路線として1979年に開業し、京成線・都営浅草線経由で都心に直通しています。2010年からは成田スカイアクセス線の一部としても使用され、スカイライナーが最高160km/hで通過します。運賃が高額なことでも知られる路線です。
Hokuso Railway opened in 1979 to serve Chiba New Town, with through-service to central Tokyo via Keisei and Toei Asakusa lines. Since 2010, it also forms part of the Narita Sky Access route, with Skyliner trains passing through at 160 km/h. The Line is notably known for its high fares.
