M28は、ASEAとASJが1965～1967年にヨーテボリ向けに製造した、4軸・一方向運転の路面電車です。2台の動力台車を持つ高床式の単車で、運転士がペダルで操作する車両群の一員として、同系統の車両を連結した運転にも用いられました。長年にわたり車内や運転台、案内表示などの更新を受けながら市内輸送を支え、低床車への置換えが進んだ後も使われ続けましたが、最後のM28は2021年10月に営業運転を終了しました。
Gothenburg's M28 was built by ASEA and ASJ between 1965 and 1967 as a four-axle, unidirectional tram. These high-floor single cars had two powered bogies and belonged to the city's pedal-controlled tram family, with multiple working allowing compatible vehicles to run together. Refurbished interiors, driving positions and information displays prolonged their service alongside newer low-floor cars, until the final M28 passenger operations ended in October 2021.
