名鉄6600系は、瀬戸線の栄町延伸開業に合わせて1976年に営業運転に入りました。6000系を基にし、前面にバンパーを持ちます。冷房がなかったため、側面窓を開けることができます。現在は冷房を備え、急行・準急・普通に使われています。
Meitetsu series 6600 were put into service in 1976, as Seto Line extension to Sakaemachi opened. Based on series 6000, they has bumper in front. Side windows can open, since they did not have air conditioning. Now they have air conditioning, used for express, semi-express and local services.
