N1000系は2008年に登場しました。車体は小さなブロックに分けて製作されており、扉の近くに継ぎ目が見えます。5000系・5050系がゴムで封じた車輪を使うのに対し、N1000系は通常の車輪を使います。東山線の5000系を置き換える予定です。
Series N1000 has appeared in 2008. The body is separately built with small blocks, so the joint can be seen near doors. While series 5000 and 5050 use rubber sealed tires, series N1000 use normal tire. They are going to replace series 5000 in Higashiyama Line.
