6000系は名鉄初の通勤形電車でした。当初は小さなクロスシートを備えていましたが、後にロングシートへ変更されました。急行・普通の両方に使われました。初代3300系は吊掛駆動でしたが、全車が引退しています。
Series 6000 was the first commuter-style train in Meitetsu. Originally equipped with small cross seats, the seating was later changed to longitudinal. The series served on both express and local services. Series 3300 (first generation) had nose-suspension drives, but all have been withdrawn.
