2000系は2005年から、中部国際空港と名鉄名古屋を結ぶ特急「ミュースカイ」に使われています。車体傾斜機構を備え、最高130 km/hで走ります。前面は黒、車体は青で、名鉄のほかの赤い電車とは異なる姿です。1編成は4両で、2編成を連結して8両になることもあります。
Series 2000 has been used for the Mu-Sky limited express from Centrair Airport to Meitetsu Nagoya since 2005. With its tilting mechanism, it runs at speeds up to 130 km/h. Its front-end design is black and the body is blue, distinguishing it from other red Meitetsu trains. A trainset consists of 4 cars, sometimes coupled to form 8 cars.
