折尾駅では筑豊本線と鹿児島本線が交差しています。50年前には、石炭を積んだ多くの貨物列車がここを通りました。現在も特急や快速列車が発着していますが、古い駅の構造が残っています。
At Orio Station, Chikuho Line and Kagoshima Line cross. Fifty years ago, many freight trains loaded with coal passed here. Now limited express and rapid trains still use the station, but the old station structures remain.
