Kuko Line and Hakozaki Line opened in 1981. It starts from Fukuoka Airport and Kaiduka, running through JR Chikuhi Line from Meinohama. Rolling stock on the Fukuoka subway includes Series 1000 and 2000, which have stainless-steel bodies and blue stripes. JR Series 103-1500 and 303 are also seen.
