大阪市営地下鉄70系は1988年に試作車が製造され、1990年の鶴見緑地線開業から営業運転を始めました。小型の4両編成に鉄輪式リニアモーターを採用し、浮上せず車輪で走ります。後の長堀鶴見緑地線で使われ、小断面トンネルと急曲線に対応する設計です。
Osaka Municipal Subway Series 70 began with prototype cars in 1988 and entered service with the Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line opening in 1990. Compact four-car trains use steel-wheel linear motors and run on wheels rather than levitating. The design serves the later Nagahori Tsurumi-ryokuchi Line, accommodating small tunnels and tight curves.
