Osaka Municipal Subway Series 66 entered Sakaisuji Line service in 1990. Overhead power collection and three-door stainless-steel bodies accommodated Hankyu through running, with VVVF control and air conditioning. Early six-car formations were lengthened to eight cars for services continuing onto the Hankyu Senri and Kyoto Lines.
