EMU Series 1000 is the first rolling stocks in Kobe Subway, built in 1977. The front design is bilaterally symmetric. Their alminum 19m body, silver windowframe and wooden-pattern interior are similar to Hankyu stocks. All the trainsets consist of 6 cars. The motors were controlled by chopper at first, but now being replaced by inverter-controlled.神戸市交1000形は、1977年に登場しました。左右対称の前面デザインが特徴です。車体はアルミ製で、19m・3扉・銀色の窓枠・木目の化粧板など、阪急色が強いものです。当初は 4 連でしたが、山手線の発展とともに増結され、全車 6 連を組みます。電機子チョッパで製造されましたが、2007年から更新工事が始まり、VVVF インバータ化が進んでいます。
