Series 2000 has a different front shape, but identical in other features. Only 4 trainsets 24 cars were built, and used from Seishin-Chuo to Shin-kobe. Seishin, Yamate and Hokushin-kyuko line only have local services, but the line is straight, and playing a great roll of the growth of north Kobe.神戸市交2000形は、1000形の増備車として1988年に登場しました。1000形のシステムを踏襲していますが、車体デザインは左右非対称になりました。その後の増備は 3000 系に移行したため、4編成に留まりました。西神・山手線、北神急行線ともに種別は各駅停車のみですが、直線主体の路線で高速な大量輸送を実現しています。
