1000系は神戸市営地下鉄で最初に使われた車両形式で、1977年に導入されました。19 mのアルミ車体、銀色の窓枠、木目調の内装は阪急の電車を思わせます。全編成が6両編成です。登場時のチョッパ制御装置は、その後インバータ制御に置き換えられました。
Series 1000 was the first rolling stock type used on the Kobe Municipal Subway, introduced in 1977. Its 19 m aluminum body, silver window frames, and wood-grain interior are reminiscent of Hankyu trains. All trainsets consist of six cars. The original chopper control equipment has since been replaced with inverter control.
