近鉄5820系は2000年に奈良線向けとして登場した「シリーズ21」のL/Cカーで、大阪線向けは2002年から導入されました。5800系を基に車体や機器を見直し、茶・白と黄色い帯の塗装、ロング・クロス切替式の座席を備えます。6両編成で、通勤輸送と長距離の一般列車の両方に対応しました。
Kintetsu Series 5820 was introduced to the Nara Line in 2000 as an L/C member of the Series 21 family, with Osaka Line cars following from 2002. It revised the Series 5800 body and equipment, combining brown-and-white livery with a yellow band and seats convertible between longitudinal and transverse layouts. Six-car formations served both commuter demand and longer ordinary-service journeys.
