阪急7000系は1980年から1988年に製造された神戸線・宝塚線用の通勤車です。6000系を基に界磁チョッパ制御を採用し、初期の鋼製車に続いてアルミ車も製造されました。本線の優等列車から支線の短編成列車まで、幅広い運用に使われました。
Hankyu Series 7000 was built from 1980 to 1988 for the Kobe and Takarazuka Lines. Based on Series 6000, it adopted field-chopper control, with aluminium cars following the initial steel-bodied batches. Its duties ranged from main-line express services to shorter branch-line trains.
