These were Nagoya City Transportation Bureau Series 1100 and 1200 cars for the Meijo Line. As with the cars transferred to Kotoden, pantographs were fitted; rebuilding also added cabs at both ends, air-conditioning, replacement bogies for narrow-gauge operation and a two-door layout. Since they also ran on street track, they had obstacle guards on the front. At the time, the scrapped Series 1100 bodies that had supplied the cabs and unit windows could also be seen at Meitetsu's Gifu works.
