The green and white railcars are Erfurter Bahn Regio-Shuttle RS1 vehicles used on regional services in Thuringia. Built from 1996, this single-car diesel design has trapezoidal windows, diagonal body pillars and a low-floor section between the bogies. Cars can be coupled to match demand; the photographs also include a yellow Hessische Landesbahn LINT train.
