ペンドリーノは、イタリアで開発された振り子式の高速電車です。フィンランド国鉄では、在来線の高速化のために導入しました。イタリアに比べて酷寒地であること、地盤が軟弱であることから、対応する改良が行われています。なお、軌間は1524mmです。Kerava-Lahtiの高速新線開業の際には追加投入があるかもしれません。
Pendolino is a tilting high-speed electric train developed in Italy. Finnish State Railways introduced it to raise speeds on existing lines. Modifications were made for Finland's much colder climate and softer ground compared with Italy. The track gauge is 1524 mm. Additional trains may be introduced when the new Kerava–Lahti high-speed line opens.
