Among Series 7700, car numbers 7715 and 7915 is equipped with a newly built cab. The front-end design is similar to the newer Series 9000, but the body retains its 1950s style. The front pantograph is located behind the first air conditioning unit. As of 2009, they is used on the Ikegami and Tamagawa lines.
