In 1986, renovated Series 7600 trains were introduced. Their bodies were inherited from Series 7200, built in 1967. They has a wedge-shaped front and a slightly narrower body (2,744 mm, compared to the standard 2,800 mm). They is used on the Ikegami and Tamagawa lines.
