相鉄新7000系は、1986年から前面デザインを変更して製造された7000系の後期グループです。アルミ車体を引き継ぎ、一部はVVVF制御を採用しました。当初の10両編成の一部は後に8両へ短縮され、2020年までに置き換えられました。
The new Sotetsu Series 7000 was built from 1986 with a revised front design. It retained aluminium construction, with some trains using VVVF control. Originally ten-car sets, some were later shortened to eight cars, and all were replaced by 2020.
