京成3400形は、初代AE形スカイライナーの台枠と制御機器を再利用して1993〜1995年に製造されました。3700形に似た新造の普通鋼製車体を持つ8両編成で、京成本線のほか都営浅草線・京急線・北総線への直通にも使われました。
Keisei Series 3400 was built between 1993 and 1995 using underframes and control equipment from the original AE Skyliner trains. Its eight-car formations had new steel bodies resembling Series 3700 and worked Keisei Main Line services and through services onto the Toei Asakusa, Keikyu and Hokuso networks.
