Many railway lines had already run around Yokohama station when Keikyu line has reached to Yokohama in 1930s. As a result, Keikyu line goes up and down to cross those railways. After leaving Yokohama with a sharp curve, it undercross Keihin-tohoku line, cross river and some goes up cross downtown.横浜駅周辺は、早くから多数の路線が開通していました。京急本線は、その間を縫うようにアクロバティックな線形を取っています。高架の横浜駅からカーブで地平に降り、京浜東北線をアンダークロスして鉄橋を渡り、再び高架に上がって市内を走ります。
