ICMは少し古いIC用の電車で、冷房はありません。正面に貫通扉を持ち、アムステルダムを通らないルートに主に用いられています。貫通扉が両側に開いて、貫通幌が出てくる構造は、国鉄485系・JR351/681/683系などによく似ています。また、塗色も近鉄特急車によく似ており、どこか既視感を感じる車両です。
ICM is an older EMU type for IC, having a connecting door in front.It is mainly used in routes that do not reach Amsterdam. These somewhat older IC trains do not have air conditioning. They have a front gangway door and are mainly used on routes not passing through Amsterdam. The arrangement in which the door opens to both sides and the gangway bellows extend resembles Japanese National Railways' Series 485 and JR Series 351, 681 and 683. The livery also resembles Kintetsu limited-express trains, giving the train a familiar appearance.
