The tram routes in The Hague, in the Netherlands, are remarkably varied. A tram can run down the middle of a road and then descend underground, or enter a building and emerge onto an elevated line. The vehicles are not yet low-floor and are not particularly distinctive, but they provide safe, fast and convenient urban transport.
