Since 1976, Seto Line ran dry moat of Nagoya castle from Doishita to Otsubashi and Horikawa. Now they run underground to Sakaemachi, the downtown of Nagoya. Higashiote Station is a rustic underground station. Trains arrive at every 4 minutes in the morning, every 15 minutes in the daytime.
