東部丘陵線・リニモは、リニモは愛知県を走る、日本初の営業用浮上式リニアモーターカーです。駅や車両は白と黒を基調とした21世紀らしいデザインです。速度は速くないものの、スムーズな加速や走り、華奢な軌道が独特です。
Linimo is the first floating linear motorcar in operation in Japan. Its max. speed 80kmph is rather slow, but its acceleration and low-noise is remarkable. The Tobu Kyuryo Line, Linimo, is Japan's first commercial levitating linear-motor railway, running in Aichi Prefecture. Its stations and trains have a twenty-first-century design based on white and black. Although it is not fast, its smooth acceleration and running, and its slender guideway, are distinctive.
