Nagoya metro series 3000 were built in 1977 for opening of Tsurumai line. Their 20-m body with blue belt is made of stainless and steal. Body width is 2740mm, which is 60 mm smaller than that of JR stocks. Motors are chopper controlled. They are planned to be withdrawn in the next 10 years.名古屋市営地下鉄3000系は、鶴舞線用として1977年に登場しました。名古屋市初のセミステンレス車体に、ラインカラーの水色の帯を持ちます。20m・4扉の大型の車体を持ちますが、車体幅はJRより6cm ほど狭い 2740mmです。制御装置は電機子チョッパです。長年主力として活躍してきましたが、近年中に置き換えが始まるようです。
